Hay Festival Wales 2009
Ya se están preparando las cosas para el Hay Festival en Wales entre el 21 al 31 de mayo de este año. La primera lista de autores confirmados apareció en su página web. La gran sorpresa de este año: la presencia de David Simon, creador y cabeza de guionistas (entre los que se encontró, en contados episodios, el ídolo de Fuguet, Richard Price) de la extraordinaria serie policial The Wire. La lista incluye a autores como:
Alaa Al Aswany
Author of the bestselling The Yacoubian Building.
Henning Mankell
Creator of Inspector Kurt Wallander, recently brought to life for the BBC by Kenneth Branagh, talks crime and punishment.
Michael Morpurgo
Much-loved author of Warhorse and Kaspar.
Amartya Sen
On economics.
David Simon
Creator and head writer of The Wire.
Sarah Waters
Previews new novel The Little Stranger.
Rowan Williams
Archbishop of Canterbury and author of Dostoevsky: Language, Faith and Fiction.
