Otra lista de la que me entero por The Literary Saloon es la Longlist del Foreign fiction prize que otorga el Arts Council England en colaboración con Champagne Taittinger. De más de 120 novelas propuestas la longlist ha quedado reducida a 16. El 1 de mayo se anunciará la shortlist y el 14 de ese mes al ganador. La lista de los 16 elegibles incluye a dos colombianos: al Bogotá39, Juan Gabriel Vásquez, y a Evelio Rosero, ganador del Tusquets con Los ejércitos, junto a autores como Ma Jian, Ismael Kadare, Yoko Ogawa, Sjon y A. B. Yehoshua.
